Hundreds took to roads against Entry Test in DG Khan; students blocked Railway Line in Vehari
VEHARI, DERA GHAZI KHAN: (Dunya News) – Hundreds of students in Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) and Vehari took to roads to protest against entry test system for admission in medical discipline. Aggravated students, carrying banners, lied down on the railway line in Vehari to protest against entry tests.
Protesters complained that after working extremely hard to pass the intermediate examinations, students are forced to spend hundreds of thousands of rupees in academies to prepare for entry tests. They demanded end to entry test system and leveling of the quota for boys and girls. Hundreds of students held a rally from Daat Bridge to Samina Chowk. They chanted slogans against entry test system.
Traffic on Dera-Quetta Road got blocked due to the protest. Protesters demanded immediate end to entry test system.
