Tribal leader Barat Khan shot dead in Chaman
Barat Khans second son Hikmatullah bore serious injuries and is being treated at the DHQ hospital.
CHAMAN (Dunya News) – Tribal leader Malik Barat Khan died along with his son while the other son got seriously injured when unidentified persons opened fire in Chaman on Saturday.
According to the details, tribal leader Barat Khan died along with his young son, Qudratullah in the native area of Chaman in front of ‘Tablighi Markaz’ (preaching centre) when unidentified armed motorcyclists aimed gunshots at the tribal leader’s car.
His second son Hikmatullah also got seriously injured in the incident.
The attackers fled the area after firing. Later, citizen shifted the bodies and injured people to the District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital Chaman on their own.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, investigation of the incident is underway whereas there is a lot of panic among the citizens in the wake of the ongoing target killings in Chaman.
