'Nilofar' not a joke, people should repent on their sins: Scholars
Mufti Muneeb, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Dr. Abul Khair, Hafiz Salfi asked people to thank Allah
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Religious scholars and clerics have said that ‘Nilofar’ cyclone was not a joke and people must repent on their sins. They warned saying that instead of making fun of Nilofar, people should thank Allah for having avoided it.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Mufti Muhammad Naeem, Dr. Abul Khayr Muhammad Zubair, Hafiz Muhammad Salafi, Qari Muhammad Usman and Maulana Abdul Karim have said that natural calamities are results of our sins. “People should abide by government and administrative directions to stay safe from such tragedies”, maintained the scholars. They warned that instead of planning picnics, people should repent on their sins. Allah’s wrath can only be avoided through repentance on our sins. People should give alms too”, scholars urge.
