I will hold 2-day sit-in in every city of Pakistan in the next phase of the revolutionary movement

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has ended the PAT sit-in today (Tuesday) and has announced that his party will continue to pursue its revolutionary agenda under any condition. He said that reforms will be brought either through ballot or through national government. Dr. Qadri said that PAT wants the electoral reforms before elections yet if elections were imposed without reforms, the party will not boycott them.

Addressing the sit-in today in Islamabad, Dr. Qadri announced to open a leadership development institution of Pakistan which will be the first of its kind. He said that he will now hold sit-ins in all cities of the country and the first one will be held in Abbotabad on 23rd of October. On 25th of December, the sit-in will be held in Karachi.

Tahirul Qadri said that the sit-in has given the Pakistanis an awareness about their rights. He said that he will hold 2-day sit-ins in all the cities of Pakistan. He said that the public gatherings in Faisalabad and Lahore were proof that the nation has risen now against the rulers and the corrupt system. He said that the corrupt system will have to go and in the next phase, Pakistan Awami Tehreek will go to every city of Pakistan and convince the people on our agenda.

At the end of his address, Tahirul Qadri said that the first phase, which invluded revolution march and sit-in, has now been completed and sit-ins will now be held in various cities of Pakistan. Dr. Qadri then announced to end Islamabad sit-in and directed his workers to pack-up.
