Clash between tribes leaves tribal head among 11 dead in Turbat
Local tribal chief Mir Yaqoob and 10 others died in result of clash between two tribes
TURBAT: (Dunya News) - Clash between two tribes in Turbat left a local tribal chief Mir Yaqoob and 10 others dead in Turbat. The incident took place today (Monday) in Balgathar, located between Turbat and Panjgor, when armed men attacked the guards of Mir Yaqoob. Mir Yaqoob died along with his guards as a result of this attack. Attackers fled after looting the weapons of the murdered guards and tribal head.
The dead included Mir Yaqoob, Mullah Fazal, Khan Muhammad, Zaman Baroot, Malang, Bilal, Aslam, Bakhtiar, Barkat, Muhammad Jan and Saleem Aslam. Levies forces arrived at the venue after eight hours of the incident and handed over the dead-bodies to their heirs. Responsibility of the attack has been claimed by banned outfit Baloch Liberation Front (BLF).
