Those making hue and cry over constitution have reduced constitution to rubble, says PAT chief

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said that PAT wants a system in which everyone is equal before law. He said that those who are making hue and cry over constitution are the very people who have reduced this constitution to rubble. “They have not even read this question”, said Dr. Qadri.

Speaking at the sit-in today (Saturday) in Islamabad, Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that poor people have been sitting in Islamabad asking for their rights for the last 37 days but nobody cared for them. He said that the society where poor are deprived of basic necessities like bread, clothes and shelter is worse than infidel societies. He said that constitution guarantees equal rights for everyone. “PAT has rebelled against injustice”, he said.

Speaking on this occasion, Pakistan Muslim League – Quiad (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that ‘Revolution March’ has given awareness to the people and everyone is raising slogans of freedom from the rulers. British member of Parliament Lord Nazir Ahmad also attended the sit-in. He remained on stage during Tahirul Qadri’s address.
