LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said that all political forces of the country stand firm with democracy today.
He was holding a press conference today (Saturday) in Lahore. Responding to a question, Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader said that there was serious threat of violence in the country because of which Punjab government had to take these measures.
“They have their personal agendas, national interest is being watched only by the PMLN”, Law Minister said in response to a question.
Our policy has always been to deal strictly with the terrorists. “Those who are responsible for killing a policeman could never have been allowed to walk free. There is no difference for us between some terrorists living in the North Waziristan and the terrorists living in Lahore”
All political forces standing with us today, said Rana Mashhood. “National security gets weakened by street agitation”, said the provincial law minister.
Provincial Law Minister said that Dr. Tahirul Qadri incited people to violence through his speeches.
PMLN stalwart from Lahore said that PMLN wanted Pakistan to make progress. “Our objective is to promote harmony and safeguard the interests of people”, said Rana Mashhood
