ECP terminates membership of PML-Ns MPA Yaqoob Nadeem Sethi
The ECP has also restored the membership of another PML-N MPA Tariq Mehmood Bajwa.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday terminated the membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Punjab Assembly Muhammad Yaqoob Nadeem Sethi who was elected from PP-175 Kasur
The ECP terminated the membership in the light of the decision of a tribunal against Yaqoob Sethi over rigging allegations.
The ECP also issued the notification of termination of MPAs membership.
On the other hand, the ECP also restored the membership of another PML-N’s MPA Tariq Mehmood Bajwa who was elected from PP-170 Nankana.
The membership of Bajwa had been suspended over allegations of holding fake degree but his membership was restored after the Supreme Court (SC) decision in his favour.
