Interpol issues red warrants for Uzair Baloch, Baba Ladla, Taju
The red warrants were issued upon request of FIA.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interpol issued red warrants for most wanted suspects of Lyari gang-war Uzair Baloch, Baba Ladla and Taj Muhammad also known as Taju on Friday on request of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Dunya News reported.
Sindh government had sent documents seeking red warrants for key suspects of Lyari gang-war to federal government on May 21. The federal government, through FIA contacted the Interpol for the arrest of three key accused.
Federal government had sought details of three prime suspects of Lyari gang-war Uzair Baloch, Taju and Baba Ladla, following which, the Sindh government compiled all the documents and sent to the federal government.
Baba Ladla, Taju and Uzair Baloch are prime and most wanted suspects for the crimes committed during the bloody gang-war in Karachi’s Lyari area.
Sindh government had set a bounty on suspects’ heads. One of the suspects Ladla who was assumed dead by Iranian guard’s fire on May 14 was one of the most wanted criminals having about 120 cases registered against him.
The cases registered against him sought various charges including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, kidnapping for ransom, drugs and extortion.
Ladla had married twice. He was a member of People’s Aman (peace) Committee but had parted ways over disputes.
Ladla along with accomplices went underground following Karachi operation and are now assumed to have fled the country.
