The hearing has been delayed due to leaves of accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Accountability Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against former president Asif Ali Zardari until June 24. The hearing delayed as the Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir was on leave.

The decision on the petition filed by the PPP leader seeking acquittal in Arsus tractor and ARY Gold cases has been delayed until June while evidence of the complainant has been sought to indict the former president in Cotechna Case.

Talking to media outside court premises, Asif Zardari’s counsel Farooq H Naek said that NAB was being used for political victimization. He demanded to close down National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

It is pertinent to mention here that the accountability court acquitted former president Asif Ali Zardari in the polo ground NAB reference.

The court, however, rejected his petitions for acquittal in SGS and Cotecna references and ordered for presenting more witnesses in both the cases.
