Salman Lashari murder case: 4 accused sent on 7-day remand

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An Anti-Terrorism court on Friday sent four police officers accused of killing youth over minor dispute to seven days physical remand. Court ordered to bring the prime suspect for remand in ambulance, Dunya News reported.
Four key accused in Salman Lashari murder case, Imran, Rashid, Yasin and Maqbool were brought to court for physical remand under strict security arrangements.
However, the prime suspect, Salman Abro, the son of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sarwar Abro could not be brought to the court due to being under treatment in court.
The accused were presented before the judge with their faces covered. Special public prosecutor Abdul Maroof, while requesting physical remand, told the court that the accused along with the prime suspect murdered their former class fellow Salman Lashari on May 8.
Court ordered that the prime suspect be brought to court for physical remand order once his condition improves.
Court, while handling the suspects to the police on physical remand until May 16, directed that the challan be submitted to court after completing investigation.
Police said that prime suspect is critically injured, hoping that he could be presented to court on May 12.
18-year-old Salman Lashari and his security guard were killed allegedly by Salman Abro and four police guards of his father.
