Bhakar: Convicted cannibal arrested for eating human flesh again
Accused Irfan and Arif were imprisoned for a year after convicted of cannibalism in 2o11.
BHAKKAR (Dunya News) - A man who had earlier been convicted of cannibalism was again arrested here on Monday while his brother managed to escape the scene.
According to details, Arif and Irfan, residents of Kahawar Kalan area of Bhakar were arrested for cannibalism in April 2013.
Both the accused were served one-year-jail sentence after they were found guilty of the vicious crime. They were released around ten months ago after completing their jail sentence.
However, on tipoff of residents of the area, police again raided their residence and arrested an accused Arif alias Aphal and recovered the head of a child whose remaining body had been allegedly eaten by the accused.
According to reports, accused Farman managed to flee from the scene before the police raid. Panic and rage gripped the area after the incident.
It is to mention here that the residence had protested against the release of the accused. They were of the view that the due legal procedure had not been followed while bringing the culprits to justice.
It was reported that the accused had been performing cannibalism by digging up dead bodies from a local graveyard for black magic rituals.
