Islamabad: Two female students locked up in IIU hostel freed

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - A court bailiff raided hostel of International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad and recovered two female students, allegedly kept in illegal detention for more than 18 hours, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

As per details, PhD student Neelam Jahan alleged that she was locked up in the hostel room as punishment for raising her voice against lack of facilities and other additional charges by the university administration.

The girls were later presented in the court of District and Session Judge Raja Jawad Abbass.

Court has ordered strict action against those involved in the incident.
