Karachi: Two terrorists involved in police bus attack killed in encounter
13 policemen were martyred in a suicide attack in Karachi last week.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two alleged terrorists involved in the Razaqqabad police bus attack were killed in an encounter in Gulshan-e-Buner on Monday.
Rangers and police launched a joint operation on a tip-off regarding the presence of activists of banned outfits in Gulshan-e-Buner area of Karachi.
According to reports, the criminals attacked the Rangers personnel with grenades and resorted to firing that injured two personnel.
Meanwhile, two terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing by police and Rangers. A Kalashnikov, TT pistol and hand grenades were seized from the terrorists.
Later, the spokesperson told the media that the killed terrorists were involved in a suicide attack on police mobile that killed 13 cops in Razzaqabad area of Karachi last week.
The Karachi police also launched raid on a tip-off and arrested Saeed Billa from Civil Hospital.
According to police, Saeed Billa belonged to Baba Ladla group. The accused is involved in several crimes including extortion and target killing.
