JUI-F MPA Sardar Khetran surrenders to police
Khetran surrendered before the police in a case registered against 10 people.
BARKHAN (Dunya News) – Sardar Abdur Rehman Khetran, member of Balochistan Assembly surrendered to police following a case of torturing police personnel and snatching their weapons.
Khetran surrendered before the police in a case registered against 10 people that also included his son.
According to police, Sardar Khetran and his companions snatched weapons from police officials after unknown assailants opened firing near an electric transformer in his area on Friday midnight.
Following the incident, the JUI-F MPA and his fellows went to the nearby police check-post and snatched weapons from personnel after torturing them.
However, Khetran said all allegations were baseless, adding that the case was registered on political grounds.
Sardar Abdur Rehman Khetran was appointed MPA on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI-F) ticket.
