Govt to present 14 missing persons today

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Defence Minister Khwaja Asif will present fourteen missing persons in Justice Amir Hani Muslim’s chamber on Saturday.

Earlier on Friday, Khwaja Asif submitted a detailed report about 35 undeclared detainees to the court, claiming that none of them is in army’s detention.

He said that two them have passed away, seven of them were living as free citizens and could be produced anywhere on court orders.

He further told court that two of the 35 persons are kept in a detention center in Malakand, three others are in South Waziristan, eight went to Afghanistan, and seven others including Yasin Shah are still missing.

The Defence Minister had assured court that some of the missing persons would be produced on Saturday before the court while others would be traced in couple of days.
