Interior Ministry warns Sindh govt of terrorist attacks
Extremists can target the personnel from law and enforcement agencies and sensitive installations.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other banded organisations are all set to launch the terrorism activities in different parts of the country.
According to letter written to Sindh government by Crises Management Cell of Interior Ministry, banned terrorist organisations including TTP, Jindul Hafsa, Punjabi Taliban, Ansar-ul-Mujahideen, Ansar-ul-Aseer, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and others have jointly planed to launch terrorists activities in the city after the assassination of TTP leader Hakimullah Mehsud.
Letter states that, extremists from banned organisations could target the personnel from law and enforcement agencies, sensitive installations, important official personalities, foreign embassies, and foreign nationals.
