Balochistan CM says India's involvement in terrorist activities in the province cannot be ruled out.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Maalik Baloch has said that resources are being provided to police and Levies to effectively cope with law and order situation in the province.

Talking to newsmen after Eid prayers in Quetta‚ he said FC has been given the powers of police in view of deteriorating law and order situation. He said eighty percent FC checkpoints in Quetta have been removed.

Maalik said involvement of India in terrorist activities in the province cannot be ruled out.

The Balochistan CM said his government is trying to bring the militants to negotiating table.

Dr Abdul Maalik said the government will continue to provide every possible assistance to the quake-hit people of Balochistan.

He appreciated generous aid from the Punjab government for the earthquake victims.
