Karachi: PIA plane makes emergency landing after catching fire
The plane carrying 54 passengers was en route to Dubai.
KARACHI: (Dunya News) - A dubai-bound passenger plane of PIA caught fire after takeoff but later made an emergency landing at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport.
According to sources of Civil Aviation Authority, emergency had been declared at the airport and the plane landed safely while all the passengers were reportedly unhurt.
Panic spread among the residents of different areas when they heard a loud noise as the plane was in flight overhead.
