Presidential poll: ECP prepares electoral lists
CEC will scrutinize the nomination papers of the presidential candidates tomorrow.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has prepared electoral lists for July 30 presidential polls.
The Election Commission has received lists of all the members of the Senate‚ National and Provincial assemblies who will cast their votes in the upcoming presidential elections.
According to the ECP, as many as 1,123 members of Senate, National Assembly and provincial assembles are eligible to cast their votes.
National Assembly‚ Senate and four provincial assemblies constitute electoral college for election of the President.
The election would be held through secret ballot. Chief Election Commissioner will scrutinize the nomination papers of the presidential candidates tomorrow.
