OGRA corruption case: NAB finds evidence of Rs 48 bn gas theft
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has found evidence of Rs 48 billion gas theft.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to sources, the evidence of Rs 48 billion gas theft is consisted of 1,000 pages. The National Accountability Bureau investigation team will produce Tauqir Sadiq, involved in the multi-billion scam, before Accountability Court today in this regard may request for more 14-day physical remand of the accused.
The NAB investigation team has prepared documents for the purpose which also included statements of the accused.
It is also stated in the document that 3.3 million dirham were transferred in two accounts of Tauqir Sadiq in Dubai and Ajman and recovery of this amount is necessary.
