Justice Nasir excuses himself from hearing Musharraf bail case

Earlier, Chief Justice also excused himself from hearing Pervez Musharraf's bail-suspension case.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing of the petition pertaining to the suspension of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf s bail in judges detention case for an indefinite period of time. 

 

The hearing was adjourned after Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk excused himself from hearing the bail suspension case against Musharraf.

 

The Supreme Court was hearing the case filed by petitioner Aslam Ghumman Advocate challenging the High Court order disposing off the treason charges and allowing bail to be posted for Pervez Musharraf in the Judges detention case.

 

Earlier, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry also excused himself from hearing Pervez Musharraf’s bail-suspension case, and instructed that the case be forwarded to another Judge.
