PML-N MPA tortures lady doctor in Sheikhupura
Arif Sandheela has denied the incident and termed the allegations baseless.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) - PML-N MPA Arif Sandheela allegedly tortured a female doctor here on Thursday.
Talking to Dunya News, Dr Sana Jabeen said that Arif Sandheela arrived in Distinct Headquarter Hospital and misbehaved with her.
She said that Sandheela had been demanding free medicines for his cattle but he got angry on refusal and hit her with his mobile phone.
On the other hand, Arif Sandheela denied the incident and termed the allegations baseless.
He said that the lady doctor was pressurizing him for her transfer but he advised her to follow the policy of the government in this regard.
Meanwhile, the doctors protested against the misbehaving attitude of the MPA and demanded action against him.
DPO Sheihupura said that the police will start investigation in to the case if the lady doctor files a request.
It is worth mentioning here that another MPA from the same party Nighat Nasir Sheikh received criticism regarding a similar incident last month.
Sheikh’s party membership was annulled on June 19 for harassing and slapping a bus hostess.
