Tauqeer Sadiq to be brought to Pakistan on July 7

Former OGRA chairman, Tauqir Sadiq has been handed over Interpol by authorities in Dubai.

 

ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - Former chairman of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Tauqeer Sadiq, was produced in the Federal Court of Dubai on Thursday.

 

The authorities in Dubai handed over former OGRA chief to Interpol. The Interpol will now hand over Tauqeer Sadiq to a Pakistani investigation team.

 

According to NAB sources, Tauqeer Sadiq will be brought back to Pakistan on a PIA flight on July 7 for which tight security arrangements have been finalized. He will be arrested soon after reaching Pakistan.

 

Former OGRA chief will be shifted to a house in Islamabad posh area which has been declared an investigation cell.

 

According to sources, after the arrest of Tauqeer Sadiq, former chairman of Security Exchange of Pakistan Muhammad Ali and commissioner Imtiaz Haider are likely to be arrested.
