ANP submits adjournment motion against GST
Four other senators also signed the motion before submission.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Awami National Party (ANP) has submitted an adjournment motion in Senate against the imposition of sales tax.
ANP's senator Zahid Khan stated in the motion that the imposition of GST without the parliamentary approval of finance bill was unconstitutional, adding that the increase in POL prices was a burden on already oppressed people .
Four other senators also signed the motion before submission.
