Fazl used religion, mosque in election campaign: Salim

Salim Saif Ullah has accused JUI-F of violating ECP's rules and demanded re-elections in NA-27.

 

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League and Ex-Federal Minister Salim Saif Ullah Khan has said that Maulana Fazal-urn-Rehman had openly used laud speakers and mosques for election campaigns in NA-27 Lakki Marwat.

 

In a statement issued by PML’s secretariat on Wednesday he said that using of mosques and loud speakers for electioneering purpose is against the rules and regulations of Election Commission of Pakistan.

 

He said that during the election campaign Maulana misinterpreted religion by issuing decree those would cast vote for any another party other than JUI-F would become infidel.

 

Salim Saif Ullah demanded Election Commission of Pakistan to carry out inquiry of Lakki Marwat elections and declare the said elections null and void and announce re-elections in Lakki Marwat.
