Forces destroy 32 terrorists hideouts in operation Rah-e-Nijat: ISPR
Security forces destroyed 32 hideouts of terrorists and diffused 22 landmines during operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan. On the other hand, 3 terrorists were killed while 9 apprehended from Swat, said an ISPR press release on Wednesday. Security forces, on Jandola sector, cleared area around Bangi Wala and will commence search operation at Zhawar Wala near Mir Khuni in South Waziristan. Security forces carried out sanitization of Shinshamwam and defused 10 IEDs and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunitions. Security forces defused 12 IEDs astride the road Tanai-Jandola on Shakai Sector. Terrorists fired nine rockets at Ladha Fort, which was responded effectively. Security forces completed search operation of area around Khassadar Ridge near Barwand.The forces cleared 22 compounds at Pash Ziarat and 10 compounds at Toda China. Terrorists fired six rockets at Behrani near Pash Ziarat, which was effectively responded. Security forces conducted search operation at village Nishpa and Salari Shaga near Kandai Sar and found a Markaz used as training centre.
