Karachi law and order case: SC to resume hearing today
A 5-member bench of the Supreme Court will resume hearing of Karachi law and order case today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will resume hearing of the Karachi law and order case today.
Justice Jawad S. Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Justice Ameer Hani Muslim and Justice Ijaz Afzal are the other members of the bench.
The larger bench will hear reports submitted by different department on law and order situation in Karachi.
During previous hearing, Chief Secretary Sindh had submitted report of cancellation of contracts Additional Chief Secretary Interior and 14 police officers. Meanwhile, Owais Muzaffar Tappi, who is stated to be a foster brother of President Asif Ali Zardari, had also submitted his reply in the court.
