Karachi: Groom among 10 killed in firing incidents

At least 10 people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.

 

The police have failed to restore peace in Karachi as 10 more people were killed in firing incidents in the past 24 hours.

 

According to details, some unidentified persons riding on motorcycle opened fire at a vehicle carrying a marriage party, resulting in death of groom, Majid and his friend while five people were wounded.

 

A 50-year-old man, identified as Ansar Jafari, was shot dead on Manghupir area while two real brothers, Sahib Zada and Bakht Zada, were gunned down in Korangi Industrial Area.

 

Miscreants also shot dead an employee of a pharmaceutical company in Site area. The deceased was identified as Samiullah.

 

In Awami Colony, a security guard Imdad Hussain was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen while Asghar Khan was also killed in the same locality.

 

Some unidentified gunmen shot dead police constable Bashir Ahmad in Korangi while Sibt-e-Hassan was gunned down in Mominabad area.

 

Meanwhile Rangers and police launched a joint search operation in Rabia City area of Gulistan Jauhar and arrested three suspects.
