Quetta: Terrorism bid foiled, two arrested
Law enforcement agencies have foiled a terrorism bid and recovered a huge amount of ammunition.
According to details, the law enforcement agencies on the secret information stopped a bus in Gulistan Corss, some 70 km away from Quetta and recovered 250 remote control bombs, detonators and fuse.
The sources informed that the ammunition was being smuggled to Quetta from Afghanistan and timely action by law enforcement agencies has foiled the terrorism attempt. Two persons were also arrested in this regard.
Meanwhile, the law enforcement agencies have also seized an explosive-laden vehicle during an operation in Surkhab area of Pashin.
