Malik warns of terrorism during Qadri's long march

Rehman Malik has assured complete security during Tahirul Qadris long march on January 14.

 

ISLAMABAD: Addressing the Senate session and talking to media outside Parliament House on Friday, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that terrorists may hit the long march of Tahirul Qadri likely to be held on January 14.

 

He said the terrorists had planned large scale attacks in Karachi on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).


Malik said there were clues of terrorists’ presence in the suburban areas of Islamabad where 90% Afghan refugees were living illegally.


According to the interior minister, the alliance with the MQM would continue in future.


Rehman Malik said that Hakimullah Mehsood was invited for dialogue with the government.
