Hizb e Islami Afghanistan political incharge says US is irresolute about his position in Afghan war.

Lahore: Head of Hizb e Islami delegation for peace talks with the US Dr Ghayrat Baher has said that the US is irresolute about his future about afghan war as he is not showing any seriousness for peace talks with stakeholders.

While giving an interview to Dunya News, Dr Ghayrat has said that Hizb e Islami is a nationally recognized and influential party across Afghanistan.

He added that he also has had meetings with General Allen, General Petraeus, Ryan C. Crocker and president Karzai but all the meetings proved fruitless. He made it clear that the US is responsible for the situation in limbo.

He claimed that his party has been offered governorship and participation in the government but this is not proper and perpetual solution of the issue.

While throwing light on Paris dialogues, he said that basically the talks arranged by Strategic Foundation were for the sake of research but with the passage of time they were turned into research dialogues.

He said that the issues of peace, security, constitution and future of Afghanistan were discussed in detail during Paris dialogue. Parties also discussed the matter from reconciliation point of view, said Dr Ghayrat.

He declared the Paris dialogue fruitful as parties had enjoyed an opportunity to express their opinions and reservations in detail.
