ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has finally decided to hold talks with founder of Tehreek-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Tahirul Qadri, Dunya News reported on Friday.

President Zardari has assigned the task to begin dialogue with TMQ leader to Interior Minister Rehman Malik.

According to sources, Rehman Malik will contact Qadri within next two days and will address his reservations. He will also request him to call off his march.

It is important to mention that Tahirul Qadri earlier announced to hold a million-man march towards Islamabad on January 14 if reforms were not implemented till January 10.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) also announced to support Tahirul Qadri’s movement. Meanwhile, Rehman Malik held a meeting with MQM chief Altaf Hussain to stop Qadri from holding long march in London. However, Altaf Hussain suggested him to ask Qadri himself.
