Tension prevails in Karachi, other cities
Amid uncertain situation, citizens are facing severe difficulties.
KARACHI: Routine life in different cities of Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad came to a halt on Saturday as fear gripped different areas following intermittent aerial shooting by unknown gunmen .
On Friday night, unidentified gunmen forced the shopkeepers and traders to close their businesses.
In response, all business and commercial activities in Karachi and other cities of the province were suspended and traffic remained thin on the roads.
Karachi Traders are of the view that markets were shut due to ongoing vioence in the city, adding that business activities will resume if situation improves by the evening.
Several protest demonstrations were also held in areas including Orangi Town, Liaquatabad and other areas of Karachi.
