Supreme Court seeks PIAs hiring record.

ISLAMABAD: While hearing the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) corruption case, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed the authorities to stop new hirings, Dunya News reported on Friday.

Chief Justice also sought details of PIA’s hiring record in the next hearing.

During case proceeding, Chief Justice remarked that ‘financial emergency’ is needed to be imposed on national flag carrier.

CJP said everyone terms himself ‘honest’ but internally he is different.

PIA’s lawyer told court that new administration is not responsible for the pre-October affairs.
