Leaders reach Islamabad for D-8 summit
Presidents of Iran, Nigeria and Indonesia have reached Pakistan for summit on Thursday.
The eighth session of D-8 conference will be held in Islamabad on Thursday. Leaders from the member countries have started arriving in the capital. President Iran Ahmadinejad, President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono have reached Islamabad.
Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhauddin Yaseen will represent the country in the conference.
Egypt President Muhammad Morsi and and Turkish Prime Minister Tayyab Erdo?an will also attend the conference.
Advisor to Bangladesh Prime Minister Syed Gohar will present his country.
Earlier the foreign ministers of the member countries held a meeting in which Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said the member countries must take advantage of investment opportunities in Pakistan.
