Quetta: Doctors' strike continues, patients suffer

The doctors continue to protest against abduction of their colleague for the 8th consecutive day.

The doctors in government and private hospitals of Balochistan including Quetta are observing strike on the call of Pakistan Medical Association against the kidnapping of a doctor of Bolan Medical Complex (BMC).The Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) have been shut of all private and public hospitals of Balochistan for the eighth consecutive day.Psychiatrist Dr Ghulam Rasool of BMC hospital was kidnapped from Brewery Road on August 1, 2012.The doctors have vowed to continue their protest until the recovery of Dr Rasool.
