More than 20 suspects held in 'UK visa scam'

FIA has arrested two travel agents and a NADRA worker on Tuesday.

Senior Interior Adviser to Prime Minister Malik Rahman said investigation is being conducted against all those including officials of NADRA and passport officefor their alleged involvement in UK visa scam.Talking to media on Tuesday, Rehman Malik said that people who try to defame the country by taking money will severely be punished.Rehman Malik said the name of the travel agent‚ Abid Chaudhry‚ was included in Exit Control List.According to FIA sources, two travel agents and several NADRA employees have already been taken into custody for interrogation.On Monday, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has already suspended 12 officials of a passport office after a a British newspaper ‘The Sun’ claimed to have revealed a fake Pakistani passport and visa ring.
