Khanewal: Shahbaz visits heirs of 'stoning victim'

Punjab CM visited the heirs of the women who was stoned to death on punchayet orders.

Addressing the media after visiting the heirs, Punjab chief minister assured provision of complete justice to the family, adding that he will make all efforts to bring the culprits to book.Shahbaz Sharif offered condolences to the family and gave a compensation of Rs 500,000 to the mother of the deceased victim.Moreover, the heirs of arrested accused also met with Punjab CM and appealed for fair and transparent investigation.Earlier, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took a suo motu notice of the incident and ordered the officials to produce the implicated men in the court.
