DG Khan rape case: Five women, accused undergo DNA tests

Five women and the accused underwent medical and DNA tests in Forensic laboratory in Lahore.

The women and officials of Border Military Police were brought to Lahore’s forensic lab where their medical and forensic tests were conducted.Director General Tahir Ashraf was also present on this occasion who supervised his team.Talking to media, alleged rape victim Shama said that she had gone to Fort Munro with her sister to meet their cousin Asif Abbas where police officials assaulted them during checking. The affected girls have demanded justice from the court.The victim women were sent back to Dera Ghazi Khan after the forensic and medical tests where they would be produced before the court today.Four days ago, two sisters Griya and Shama along with their relatives Saima, Sanam and Sehrish Gilani were allegedly raped in Fort Munro.Police arrested accused Naveed Iqbal, Zafar and Amjad while raids were being made to arrest their two accomplices including Majeed Leghari and an unknown man.
