SC to resume Arsalan Iftikhar case hearing

The two-member bench of Supreme Court will resume hearing of Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case today.

Two-member bench of Supreme Court comprising Justice Javad S Khawaja and Justice khilgi Arif Hussain is hearing the case of Dr Arsalan Iftikhar.It was also decided that the hearing of the case will be held on daily basis from today. Malik Riaz counsel Zahid Bukhari had filed an application on Saturday to form a larger bench to hear the case which was rejected.The Supreme Court during last hearing asked Malik Riaz to appear before court to express his point of view regarding allegations leveled against Arsalan Iftikhar.According to sources, Malik Riaz left London on Sunday and will appear before the Supreme Court and submit his statement in connection with the Arslan Iftekhar case as soon as he reaches Pakistan.
