SC to resume RPPs implementation case hearing today

The three-member bench of Supreme Court will resume RPPs implementation case hearing today.

Three-member of Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would resume hearing of Rental Power Plants (RPPs) implementation case today.The NAB chairman had submitted two implementation reports on the instruction of Supreme Court during previous hearings. It is expected that the third report will be presented today.The Supreme Courts in its judgment of RPPs case last month had cancelled all rental power projects and ordered strict action against minister, secretaries who approved these projects.
