Haqqani shouldn't be compared with Mansoor: memo commission

Justice Qazi Faez says Haqqani is a Pakistani citizen and should not be compared with Mansoor Ijaz.

The session of memo commission was headed by Justice Qazi Faez Esa at Islamabad High Court.Zahid Bukari, counsel of Hussain Haqqani, said that his client resignation was not a result of any session. He himself voluntarily tendered his resignation and DG ISI has also confirmed it. He said Hussain Haqqani has always denied all reports over his involvement in memo case.He insisted that Haqqani is also ready to record his statement via video link.Highlighting Mansoor ijaz absence, Haqqanis lawyer said Mansoor Ijaz did not appear before the parliamentary committee too.Adding remarks, the commission said that Hussain Haqqani is a Pakistani citizen and ambassador and he should not be compared with Mansoor Ijaz.
