Nepra increases power tariff of two companies

Nepra has given approval to increase power tariff of two companies from 51 paisa to Rs 2.68 per unit

The fresh hike in power tariff has been approved for Central and Jamshoro power generation companies.According to the notification, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved an increase of Rs 2.68 per unit of Central Power Generation Company due to which the tariff of Guddu Power plant has been increased to Rs 21.36 per unit, while the power tariff of Jamshoro Power Company has been raised by Rs 76.22, after an increase of 51 paisa to 58 paisa per unit.
