Parliamentary Committee calls PIA's lease record

Special Parliamentary Committee has called PIA record of getting planes on lease.

On the other hand, the embattled PIA has decided to shut its night coach between Islamabad and Karachi.Samsam Bokhari chaired a special parliamentary committee meeting regarding Haj flights in Islamabad.PIA Managing Director Nadeem Yousufzai told the committee that the night coach between Islamabad and Karachi would be shut soon. He also denied embezzlement in procuring planes on lease from the Boeing company.He said he would leave the country if embezzlement charges are proven. He said that lease rate has been fixed below the rate fixed under the agreement formalized in 2008. The committee called all record of the lease.
