Pasha likely to become FPSC member

Government has decided to appoint General Pasha as member of (FPSC) after retirement.

According to the sources the Establishment Division has sent the summary of appointment of Gen Pasha as member of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).The sources further said that name of Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Muhammad was also present in the summary which was later removed.After the approval of Pasha’s name, he would be appointed as member FPSC.It is worth mentioning that post of a member remains vacant in FPSC for last two and half months.Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha is retiring from his service on March 18.Eearlier, outgoing Director General, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Lt. General Ahemd Shuja Pasha, paid farewell call on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House on Saturday.The Prime Minister appreciated the meritorious services of the outgoing DG, ISI for the defense of the country while serving on important positions in the Pakistan Army and the Security Agency. The Prime Minister extended his best for Lt. General Ahmed Shuja Pasha.
