Major security operation in Karachi, two terrorists arrested, weapons recovered
Security Forces conducted undercover operations at two different places in the city
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Security forces, in a major operation in Karachi, have arrested three individuals including two terrorists. The two terrorists Nabi Gul and Mohammad Aqeel have confessed to killing two officers of intelligence agency while the third person, Shehzad Chotoo, has been involved in more than 40 murders.
According to details, Special Investigation Unit Karachi and an Intelligence Agency have conducted undercover operations at two different places in the city and arrested two terrorists and a target killer.
According to sources, terrorists Nabi Gul and Mohammad Aqeel have confessed to killing two Intelligence Bureau (IB) officers in 2008. Weapons, ammunition and other items have also been recovered from the Afghan-trained terrorists. It has also been uncovered that they were involved in dozens of other incidents, including murders.
In another operation, a Lyari gang war member was arrested and arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession. The accused, Shehzad alias Chhoto, confessed to more than 40 murders. Sources said that the target killer murdered citizens and members of Baba Ladla group on the orders of Uzair Baloch.
