SHC shortens sentences of kidnappers
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court has shortened sentences of two ransom kidnappers to seven years from life imprisonment.
During the hearing of the appeal against sentence of three kidnappers, prosecution took the stance that anti-terrorism court handed life imprisonment to all three kidnappers after they were proven guilty. Criminals kidnapped a man in 2008 from Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Court after hearing arguments of both sides, changed order of trial court and shortened sentences of head constable Abdul Sattar and Syed Tayyab to seven years.
