Police fail to arrest 'transgender' dacoit group despite latest facilities

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Police officers have failed to arrest a five-member dacoit group disguised as transgenders and involved in heinous crimes in the metropolis despite latest equipments.

According to a report prepared by Daily Dunya, as many as 59 cases related to kidnappings for ransom, thefts and murders have been registered against this gang in different police stations in Lahore.

Not only this, but 11 cases in Faisalabad, 6 in Khanewal, 9 in Okara, 4 in Sheikhupura, 3 in Jhelum, 10 in Sukkur, 18 in Karachi and 12 cases in Multan are also present against the same dacoit group.

As per report sent to higher police officials, the Pathan group provides weapons and other arms to transgender dacoit group for robberies. The report also stated that the members of this group are fair with normal heights, strong and good at shooting.

The officers  said that security forces of other cities have also complained about this gang after which the authorities along with law enforcement agencies have geared up operation against them.
