Special Investigation Unit arrests five-member robber group in Islamabad
Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the detainees.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special investigation unit of police has arrested a five-member robber group during raid in Islamabad, reported on Monday.
According to details, the group looted people who withdrew money from bank while the suspects have also killed a man in Bhara Kahu area last month.
The criminals identified as Sajjad, Rizwan, Ishaq, Shahzad and Ibrahim have also been accused of Rs 27 lac dacoity on highway.
The security personnel claimed of recovering weapons from the possession of the detainees.
Moreover, the officers have launced an investigation into the matter and assured to apprehend the other criminal groups.
